Binding copy A book in poor condition, in need of a new binding. Also be referred to as a "reading copy only".

British Museum Catalogue.
Book club edition Usually an inexpensive reprint using lesser quality materials and initially sold at a lower price than the original edition. Available to members of the club via subscription.
Bookplate (Ex-Libris) A label of ownership usually attached to the front pastedown.

Broadside

A sheet printed on one side only (as a poster). When printed on both sides it is called a "broadsheet"
Buckram A special heavy-weave cloth made of cotton. Quite durable and commonly used in library bindings.
